Objective

How to Play

  1. You are assigned a target to splash. Someone else is assigned to splash you. Check lawrenceville-splash.vercel.app for your target.
  2. When you are eliminated, give up your Splash code (on the website).
  3. Splashing cannot take place:
    • Anywhere Indoors, or within 5 feet of doors to any campus building (car doors not included)
    • During departmentally-driven events such as community service, performance arts, campus tours, and athletic events/practice (during coach-given hours), amongst others.
    • In construction areas
    • On Main Street or faculty housing
  4. Only official Splash bottles and blasters will be allowed until the Finals Round.
  5. Expect pauses of Splash to be announced via email, the Splash website and on the Splash Instagram Page: @lville_splash
  6. Rounds are accordingly:
    • 24-Hour Round, if you don't get your person out within 24 hours, you are out. There are 4 24-hour rounds. These take place from Monday May 12th to Thursday May 15th.
    • Finals Round, which is a free-for-all that takes place among 10 finalists in the Bowl on Friday May 16th.
  7. If you are eliminated, you must give up your Splash code (on the website).
  8. Splashing cannot take place:
    • Anywhere Indoors, or within 5 feet of doors to any campus building (car doors not included)
  9. If a player is missing commitments/breaking school rules*, faculty can email Splash Ops to DQ that player from Splash (Please email all of us). If a player is caught cheating, exchanging money, or deliberately misleading an adult, those are grounds for immediate and permanent disqualification. DQs are immediate and not debatable. Mr. August will manage any disqualifications in dispute. This includes:
    • *This includes running indoors, splashing someone who is not your target, splashing someone who is not playing the game, or splashing someone who is participating in a mandated departmentally-driven event, like a community service event, a performing arts event, an athletic practice, a campus tour, or religious service.
  10. During the game, there will be rare "ability codes" hidden around campus. Entering these codes in the user's "ability code" section will give the user one of 4 special abilities: temporary immunity, revival, target swap, or qualification for the Finals. Codes will now expire to prevent hoarding. An expiration date will be printed on each code, and if the code is not scanned before the expiration date the code will deactivate. Once the code is scanned, it will remain on the splash website permanently until used. For example, if you find a revival code but have not died yet, you can scan it with your ability scanner on the website and it will appear on your profile. When and if you die, you can trigger your revival ability. However, if you fail to scan the code before the expiration date, it will not grant any abilities.
    • Grants temporary protection from being splashed
    • If splashed while immune, you keep your code
    • Must be activated before being splashed to count
    • Cannot be used after being splashed
    • Lying about having immunity is allowed
    • If caught lying (splashed while feigning immunity), you must surrender your code
    • If splashed while legitimately immune, your target will be reassigned
  11. Revival

    • Allows you to revive yourself or another player
    • Can be used after elimination from the game
  12. Target Swap

    • Allows you to switch either:
      • The person who has you as their target, OR
      • Who your current target is
  13. Finals take place at the Bowl (or the Turf) Friday May 16th, 2025. *If a player has issues while playing the game, email the Splash Ops (Chris Bai, Antonia Comaniciu, Marco Pellegrini, and Vivienne Wan). Include all four please. *If a player has issues with the website, email the Head Splash Ops and the Splash Developers (Chris Bai, Antonia Comaniciu, Oceana Li, Christian Chan). Include all four please
